Obituary
Samuel Wright, 90, who lived with a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Isabelle H. Wright, died yesterday in Proctor Hospital. He had farmed in the Piper City area for 30 years and in Manito for 12 years prior to retiring and moving to Peoria.
Born in Marion County on Jan. 5, 1878, Mr. Wright was a son of James and Julia Nelson Wright.
A son, Norval E. Wright, a city fireman, died on Dec. 30, 1966. A grandson, Norval E. Wright Jr., also preceded him in death, having been killed while on duty as a Peoria police officer in 1956.
