Luella Watkins

Luella Watkins, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016.
Luella was born on May 26, 1929 in Hatch, Idaho the daughter of Peter Leo and Nellie Grant Johnson.
She graduated from Bancroft High School.
She married Darrell Watkins on May 29, 1948 in the Logan, Utah Temple. He passed away on March 20, 1997.
Luella was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was also a Member of the Caribou Memorial Hospital Auxillary Pink Ladies and had 1,082 hours of service. She was also in the Bowling league and a member of the Soda Springs Community theatre. Luella worked at Eastman Drug Store for 27 years.
She enjoyed bowling, needlework, crochet, camping, fishing and spending time with grandkids. She also loved to sing and spent time with grandkids playing the keyboard and singing their favorite songs.
She is survived by one son, Thomas and Marie (Crook) Watkins of Island Park, ID and two daughters, Cheryl and Craig Rasmussen and Julie Watkins both of Soda Springs, ID. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a sister Pauline Hatch of Ogden, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter Nellie, and 2 sisters Beverly and Conna, one brother John, and 2 great grandson Wyatt and Hayden.
Services will be held on Thursday, November 17 at Noon at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Thursday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
