Patricia (Pat) King Allen, 77, passed to her heavenly home on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at her home in Ridgeland, MS.
Pat was born, February 27, 1939 in Osceola, AR and was raised in Memphis, TN. She attended the Mississippi University for Women before completing her degree as one of the first female graduates in University of Mississippi School of Banking and Finance. It was while at Ole Miss, where she met the love of her life, Frank E. Allen, Jr., of Canton, MS.
Frank and Pat shared a marriage that lasted 51 years. Pat spent 35 years as a District Sales Manager with AVON Products, Inc. She was a numerous Circle of Excellence Winner affording her and Frank numerous overseas trips across the globe. One of which affording them a memory of a lifetime in meeting and being serenaded by Mr. Tony Bennett while in Barcelona.
Pat spent a lifetime of memories with Frank as avid followers of the Ole Miss Rebels giving them friendships and memories to carry with them forever.
Pat was preceded in death by her life's mate, Frank E. Allen, Jr., of Canton, MS; her parents, John C. and Mary K. King of Memphis, TN and a sister Janet King Robbins of Memphis, TN.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Allen Tullos of Canton, MS and Anne Cassell (Thad) Watkins of Hoover, AL. Three grandchildren, Lindsey Allen Tullos of Jackson, MS, Thad and Allen Watkins of Hoover, AL. And one great grandchild Evie Stringer, of Jackson, MS.
Pat is also survived by her forever best friend and loving heart sister, Sue Bennett of Jackson, MS.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Breeland Funeral Home. Visitation will also be at Grace Episcopal Church on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral service. Burial will be in the Canton Cemetery.
