Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, March 9, in the ward hall at Fredonia for little Evelyn Brooksby, the seven year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Brooksby, who died Saturday, March 6, in Cedar City, following an operation for appendicitis. Services were as follows:
Song, "Consolation," by ward choir, of which were written by A. W. Judd.
Invocation, Eli Judd.
Song, "Your Sweet Little Rosebud Has Left You," by ward choir.
Speakers were A. W. Judd and President H. J. Meeks.
Mrs. E. B. Dalley and Mrs. Elva Judd and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Vernon sang a quartet.
Benediction was offered by Mr. E. B. Dalley.
Dan Judd dedicated the grave.
Services were conducted by Abia Judd, member of the ward bishopric.
Evelyn was a member of the first grade in the Fredonia school and her leaving will be keenly felt by everyone. She is survived by her parents and the following brothers and sisters, Irene, Armand, Ella, and Juanita.
