Leonard Yancey Dorn, Sr., of Greenwood, widower of Mary Sue Raborn Dorn, died on November 9, 2016, at Wesley Commons. Mr. Dorn was 106 years old. Born on July 16, 1910 in Greenwood, he was the son of the late Ernie Elwell Dorn and Ellen Harrison Dorn Williams. Leonard retired from Greenwood Mills-Harris Plant where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He raised pigeons, and was an avid gardener. Mr. Dorn was a member of Tranquil United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by son, Leonard Yancey Dorn, Jr. Surviving are a son, Cecil Wayne Dorn (Lynn) of Oviedo FL; daughters, Linda Polatty (Nelson) of Ninety Six and Mary Ann Evans (Don) of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great-great grandchildren.
