Anthony Arnold was born in Longview, Texas to the late Wirnetta Mumphrey and Alfonia Arnold. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Nedetter “Ned” Fortson, Alfred Fortson, two sisters, Maudie L. “Niecie” Fortson, and Elease Woolridge, one son, Carlos J. Dixon and one grandson, Federico Jr. Sanders.
He was a truck driver for Gipson Drilling, D and L Welding, and he retired from Meadowbrook Golf Course in Kilgore, Texas. He was called to heaven on October 23, 2016 surrounded by loved ones.
