Latta – Clement Olin Epps, 87, died Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Methodist Manor of the Pee Dee. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 11, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in Magnolia Cemetery. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta, SC is assisting the family.

Mr. Epps was born in Latta, SC, December 11, 1928, the son of the late Silas W. and Caroline Monroe Epps. Olin served in the United States Army and remained in the Army Reserve until his retirement. He received a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Clemson University and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of South Carolina. Olin retired as Assistant Superintendent of Dillon School District Three. He also worked as a Surveyor. He was a member of Latta United Methodist Church and the widower of Eloise Brigman Epps.

He is survived by his daughter, Jane Epps Martin (Jerry) of Latta, SC; grandchildren, Jerry Martin, II and Heather Holliday (Daniel) of Latta, SC; and sister, Martha Frye of Cartage, NC. Olin was predeceased by his brothers, William and Ethan Epps.
