Danny R. Lane, 69, of Dale City died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009.
He was retired and is survived by his wife, Nettie; his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Todd Pierpoint of Stafford County; his son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tracy Lane of Stafford; his grandchildren, Jason and Lindsey Pierpoint, and Kelsey and Kendall Lane; and his two sisters, Barbara Harper of Riverton, W.Va., and Annette Fields of Wilmington, Del. Danny was preceded in death by his father and mother, the Rev. Lester and Mabel Lane of Buckhannon, W.Va., and his brother, Donald Lane of Alexandria.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 4143 Dale Blvd., Dale City. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at the funeral home with a reception to follow.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, 2677 Fravel Road, Woodstock,VA on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m.
