Anna Mae (McCurtain) Beck of Summerfield, Oklahoma was born May 23, 1936 in Hodgen, Oklahoma to Clyde and Juanita (Wright) McCurtain and passed away November 7, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 80.
She is survived by: One daughter: Anita Rae Beck of Waldron, Arkansas, Two sisters: Joyce Lankford and husband Jimmy of Hodgen, Oklahoma, Vivian Barrett of Hodgen, Oklahoma, Three brothers: C.D. “Buddy” McCurtain of Hodgen, Oklahoma, Tommy McCurtain of LeFlore, Oklahoma, Mike McCurtain of Hodgen, Oklahoma, Eight grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, Three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earnest Cecil Beck; two daughters, Cynthia Ailene Henry and Cecile Ann Beck: one son, David Wayne Beck; three sisters, Gilda Watkins, Ruby McCurtain and Linda McCurtain; and one brother, Jimmy McCurtain.
Ann was long-time resident of the area and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly remembered and missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bob Cherry officiating. Burial will follow in Hodgen Cemetery.
