Shirley, 90, passed away peacefully, on November 4, 2016, surrounded by family and her special caregiver. She was born to Earl and Myrtle (Plowman) Ridenour.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul (2014); son, John (1974); sisters, Maxine and Jean, and brothers, Larry and William.

She is survived by daughters Susan (Sam) Lovall, Sally (Alan) Colandrea, Sherry (Bryan) Lensing; sons James Stoddard, Paul (Sheri) Stoddard; Matthew (Jessica) Stoddard, 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Shirley loved cooking (she made the best pies), canning, crocheting and gardening, and in her younger years, she also was a hunter. She enjoyed spending time in Florida in the winters and going to Canada to fish. She was an avid Tigers and MSU fan. She was very active in her family's lives.

A funeral service was held Friday, November 11 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel.
