Paul, 90, of Haslett, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home with family and special care-giver by his side, on January 16, 2014. He was born to Leland and Hazel (Marrison) Stoddard.

Paul was a lifelong resident of the Haslett area who loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing. Paul enjoyed a long retirement, he loved traveling throughout the United States and spending his winters in Florida.

Paul, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great grandfather was preceded in death by son John (1974), and two brothers Willard and Dale Stoddard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Shirley, daughters Susan (Sam) Lovall, Sally (Alan) Colandrea, Sherry (Bryan) Lensing, sons James Stoddard, Paul (Sheri) Stoddard, Matthew (Jessica) Stoddard, seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, sister in law Reva Stoddard, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday January 20, 2014 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, Williamston, with The Rev. Dr. James Robinson of Bethel Baptist Church officiating.
