Cora, step-daughter of the late Frank Baker and Rosa Elizabeth Robinson; she had two step-siblings, Nellie/Ellen (1875 - ) and Willie (1878 - ). Cora married Floyd Harrison Cook in Syracuse, New York and on July 24, 1911, they had their first child Eulala Arline "Eukie" Cook. Then on July 13, 1912, Cora and Floyd had Floyd Harrison Cook Jr.

Cora lived in Washingtonville and previously lived in Middletown and was a charter member of the Women's University Club and the Garden Lover's Club of the city. Cora was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Minisink Chapter and the Athenia Club of Washingtonville.
