Ralph V. Hurrish, 82, of 30__ County Trunk C in Stevens Point passed away unexpectedly on Monday Dec. 26, 2011, at his home.
He was born June 29, 1929 in Stevens Point. Son of the late Vincent and Helen (Bombera) Hurrish. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with an accounting degree. Ralph entered the U.S. Army on Aug. 2, 1951, in Milwaukee. He served in Germany until his honorable discharge on July 15, 1953, at Fort Sheridan, Ill. His marriage to Jeanette Lodzinski took place on Aug. 6, 1955, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. He was employed at Vetters Mfg in Stevens Point for several years, then worked for Consolidated Papers in Wisconsin Rapids as the Secretary and Treasurer of the Water and Power Company until his retirement....
