Born in Marshall Township. Confirmed at Little Cedar in 1904. Edwin N. Johnson and Alma Wiste were married 10/16/1912. Attendants were Alfred Wiste and Mabel Johnson.

Obituary:
Mrs. Alma Jeanette Wiste Johnson, daughter of Andrew A. Wiste and Hannah Osmundson Wiste was born in Marshall Township, Adams, Minnesota, Nov. 12, 1889. She was baptized and confirmed in Little Cedar Lutheran Church of which she was a life-long member and active in all its organizations.

On Oct. 16, 1912 she was united in marriage to Edwin N. Johnson. They resided on a farm west of Adams until May of 1956 when they moved to Adams.

Three children were born to them. One daughter, Hazel, who preceded her mother in death April 1, 1955, and two sons, Richard and Donald of Adams.

Surviving are her husband and two sons, Richard and Donald, one daughter-in-law Ruth Johnson, and three grandchildren, Sharon, Joann and Charles Johnson, one brother, Alfred Wiste of Adams, and a foster brother, William Wiste of Indianapolis. Her parents and three sisters have also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Johnson enjoyed good health until recent years when a heart ailment curtailed her activities. On the morning of Nov. 11th, she entered Osage Memorial Hospital where she passed quietly away at 5:15 o'clock the same day at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 29 days. Alma, as she was affectionately known, was a friend to all who knew her and always ready to lend a helping hand wherer it was needed. Her main interests were her church and family and was a devout worshipper when her health permitted.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 15, Rev. Truman Mohn officiating. Burial was in Little Cedar cemetery. Mrs. H. E. Osmundson, Mrs. E. S. Anderson, Fred Ulven and H. E. Lunde sang two hymns: "Under His Wings" and "God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again." Pallbearers were Theodore Bohn, William Wiste, Orin Wiste, Vance Torgerson, Lloyd Asper and Earl Weness.
