ADAMS - Funeral services for Louis Fardahl, 98, 1505 3rd Ave. S.W., formerly of Adams, who died Monday at Burr Oak Manor, will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Little Cedar Lutheran Church, Adams, the Rev. Allen Gunderson officiating. Interment will be at Little Cedar Lutheran Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the Adams Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church.

Mr. Fardahl was born May 1, 1892 in Adams to John and Gunhild Fardahl. He married Esther Berg, Jan. 31, 1948 at the Little Cedar Lutheran Church, Adams. He was a lifetime farmer in the Adams area.

He is survived by his wife, Esther, Austin; a brother and sister-in-law, Nels and Irene Fardahl, Decorah, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Irene Ellingson, Austin; nieces; nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
