Obituary excerpts from unnamed, undated newspaper (probably printed in the Petersburg, IN, area).
"Esta Capehart, 62, Dies Wednesday Morning"
"Mrs Esta Capehart, 62, of Otwell, died at 1:30 am, Wednesday in the Jasper Memorial hospital."
"She was the daughter of Lafayette and Leann (Robling) Miley and was born in Indiana Nov. 21, 1892. Her husband, John Capehart, preceded her in death."
"Services will be held at the Contenders of Faith Church in Otwell at 2 pm Thursday ... with the Rev. John Hand officiating and burial in the Traylor Union cemetery."
"The body will lie in state at the church until the hour of the funeral."
Among the named surviving children are Rev. Valen Capehart, Plainville; Ivan of Huntingburg; Mrs Pearl Garland, Mrs Agnes Rainey, Alvah and John Jr. all of Otwell.
NOTE: Esta's father and mother, Lafayette Miley and Lee Ann Robling Miley have obituaries which state they were buried "in the Public Cemetery." Sadly, I have no idea what or where the "Public Cemetery" is. Hoping that the Iva Cemetery is what was earlier known as the Public cemetery, I have add the FAG memorials of LeeAnn and Lafayette Miley in that cemetery.
