Survivors: Wife, Margaret Walsworth Jordan of Bienville, LA; Two Sons, Donnie Jordan and wife Cindy of Quitman, LA
Danny Jordan of Florida; Daughter, Medina Pruitt and husband James of Bienville, LA; Brother, Ralph R. Jordan and wife Elizabeth of Shreveport, LA; Nine Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren

After graduating from Bienville High School, Mr. Jordan became a logging contractor, then later worked for LA. Ammunition Plant and drove bus transporting workers. He then became an electrician/lineman for the Town of Jonesboro for a few years. After leaving Jonesboro he became employed with Southern Natural Gas Company in Waterproof, LA for approximately 2 years, then in Joaquin, TX for almost 10 years until he returned home to the Bienville Gas Plant where he retired. Mr. Jordan invented and patented Mountain Man Bar-B-Q sauce, was the cofounder of Jordan Mountain Hunting Club, was listed in the Bienville Parish History Book and was known in the Bienville area as Mountain Man, but kids and grandchildren called him Papa.
