HENRY C. ARP

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Runge chapel for Henry C. Arp, 65, of 1306 Fillmore street, Davenport, who died Thursday morning in Mercy hospital following a two-year illness. Dr. J. A. Miller, pastorof St.Paul's Lutheran church will officiate. Burial will be in Oakdale cemetery.

A longtime foreman in the truck department of the city of Davenport, Mr. Arp was born in Davenport Oct. 28, 1888, son of Henry and Dora Arp, and married Lillie White of Davenport Aug. 2, 1911.

Surviving in addition to his widow are seven daughters, Beverly and Susan, both at home; Mrs. Helen Semones and Mrs. Ralph Curtis, both of Davenport; Mrs. Richard Duncan, Bettendorf; Mrs. Mildred Shifflett, Clinton, and Mrs. Josepine Ales, in California; two sons, Robert and Gerald, both at home; three sisters, Mrs. Louis Shellborn, Davenport; Mrs. Ella Erbst, Moline, and Mrs. Ernest Koos, St. Louis; a brother, Otto, Davenport, an six grandchildren.

His parents, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.
