Mrs. Christine Parrott Fowler, 94, of Spartanburg, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Regional Hospice Home. She was the widow of Charles W. Fowler who died in 1998.

Mrs. Fowler was born on October 25, 1922 to the late S. Frank and Christine Goudelock Parrott. She was graduated from Spartanburg High School and Cecil’s Business College. She was a retired administrative assistant with Spartanburg Regional Medical Center having worked there for thirty years. Mrs. Fowler was a member of Second Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Bill and Jane Fowler of Boiling Springs; a daughter: Lynda Fowler of Moore, a niece: Camille Jolley of Sumter, SC; three grandchildren and spouses: Sommer and Will Morgan, Jon and Micah Fowler, and Riley and Josh Brown; along with four great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park officiated by Rev. David Howell.

Memorials may be made to Second Presbyterian Church, 438 N. Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to Spartanburg Animal Shelter, 155 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

The family will be at the home of Riley and Josh Brown.
