Clyde Wilburn Freeman, age 92, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Mr. Freeman was born on October 9, 1924, to B.W. and Ollie Freeman. He was a WWII veteran. Mr. Freeman was a master plumber, and owned Clyde Freeman Plumbing for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Beddingfield Freeman, of 73 years. He has two daughters and son-in-laws, Phyllis and Joe Ford and Patti and Chris Bowman. He was blessed with two grandchildren, Jennifer VanCleef of Highland Village and Patrick Bowman. Patrick preceded him in death in 2012. He is also survived by a brother, Lester Freeman of Arlington, along with 14 nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother. Our Daddy was beloved by so many family, friends and neighbors, who will remember him for his wit, kindness and love of work, whether it was plumbing, helping others, or carpentry in his workshop. Daddy also loved that he and our mother were the nice, "Bonnie and Clyde" for 73 years. Pallbearers will be his sons-in-laws and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Services will begin in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Chaplain Kenn Somerville officiating. He will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tyler. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be made to: the Patrick Bowman Memorial Eagle Scout Scholarship fund. c/o East Texas Area Council Boy Scouts 1331 E. 5th Street Tyler, TX 75701.
