Dear Nan, A great time was had by all. A 69 year trip! I caught more fish than anyone. I cannot wait to take you, dad, Ahwah, and Jim fishing. I have not fished with dad for 60 years!

Marge has taken the best care of me...best food, best drink, best friend. The socks she gave me really weren't too big! (The best that QVC has to offer).

I love my boys, Mikie (Carrie), Scott, Brad (Gabriela), Ryan (Stacy), Jeff (Christa). I am proud of all they do. I coached their teams and never missed a game! I love when the whole family can get together, especially at the cabin. I hope one day they can be as good a fisherman as I am.

I really am a celebrity. After teaching 39 years, coaching many teams, playing college basketball (best jump hook) and football, and 30 plus years in the big red suit (Ho Ho Ho), there are not many places I can go without someone calling out: Papa Murr, Coach Murry, Santa, Horse or give me a "U".

I love all my Grandkids, Patty and family (Sister), Murrys, Broadheads(fat-boy), Browns, Whartons, and all other who are Ute fans. I can't wait to see you, dad, Jim, Tutu, Ahwah, Iggie, and my Boston Terriers.

Gooooo Utes!

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 Creek Road Sandy, Utah, with a viewing Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.) and one hour prior to services at the church.
