A memorial service will be held for Alverna McIntyre "Mac" Coleman, 89, 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Coleman died on Thursday, August 18, 2016, in Shreveport, LA.
Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John G. Coleman. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Coleman Horn her husband Brian; and grandchildren, Julia Anne and John Horn.
Mrs. Coleman was a loving wife and mother, an avid gardener, painter and member of the Hoover Watercolor Society.
The family would like to thank Joyce Frank, Gwen Frank and Alice Evans for the special care they gave Mrs. Coleman.
