She married George F. Babits in 1942. They had children Lawrence F., George F., Jr., Thomas A., Martha A., David W. and Mary T.
They lived in Oregon where he was a Christmas tree farmer in the Silverton Hills.
After George died in 1980 she married I. Melvin Abrahamson in 1985. He proceeded her in death in 2001.
She was survived by sisters Margaret Pingree of Topsham, Maine and Ruth Pratt of Amherst, MA; sons Laurence, Providence, R.l., George, Montrose, Cola, Thomas, Balma, France, David, Shedd; daughters, Martha Wolff, Sandy, and Mary Overfield, Salem; thirteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
