BOONEVILLE - Avis Beatrice Arnold, 69, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She attended the First Apostolic Church in Booneville. She enjoyed crocheting.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roy Bostick, Bro. Tommy Bradley and Bro. Eldon McVey officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Edd Arnold of Booneville; a daughter, Becky McVey and husband, Eldon, of Booneville; a son, Terry Carr and wife, Barbara, of Manila, Ark.; a daughter-in-law, Betty Jane Arnold of Booneville; two sisters, Faye Stewart and husband, Bill, of Booneville, and Jean Pennington of Germantown, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Genell Robinson of Booneville; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Lorene Robinson; a son, Tony Arnold; and a brother, L. W. Robinson.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Williams, Tracy Arnold, Jerry Pennington, Stephen Stewart, Jim Melton, T. J. Carr and Lowell Wayne Roper.
Visitation will continue until service time today.
