He died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 1990, at his residence after an illness.
He was born in Marlow, OK, and attended school in Crosbyton. He worked as a cook in the Lubbock area and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Dianne Bray of Dallas; and two sisters, Bessie Brints of Crane and Lela Loft of Pismo Beach, CA.
