CLINTON ITEMS.
On last Friday evening, about six o'clock, the little two year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Gill was missed from about the house, and, after about a half hour's diligent search for her, it was discovered that the cistern top was tilted to one side, when Mr. Gill procured a ladder and went down, and there found his little darling floating on the water. Dr. Horn was sent for immediately and everything done to bring life back, but 'twas too late. Another little soul has gone to join the angel band in Heaven.
