Wife of John Hamilton Hastie, Jr. Daughter of William Booth (1821-1866) and Camilla Byrne Booth. Granddaughter of Captain Joseph Booth (1795-1861) who was with Gen. Andrew Jackson at the taking of Pensacola, escorted Lafayette from Georgia to Mobile, and participated in the Creek War of 1836.
