MRS. JACK BORDEAUX DIES; FUNERAL HERE
Young Woman Who Lived in Delta Number of Years succumbs at home in Craig.
Funeral services will be held here tomorrow for Mrs. Jack Bordeaux, who died at her home in Craig, Colorado, Monday, only two weeks after the birth of a little daughter. Services will be held at the Methodist Church at 3 o'clock with the Rev. H.M. Peters officiating. Mrs. Bordeaux was the former Miss Mabel Burson. She was born May 6, 1909, in Balfour, Iowa. She spent her girlhood in Iowa, coming to Colorado about four years ago. Her mother died when she was eighteen months old and she then made her home with sisters. In Denver, she made her home with a sister, Mrs. V.J. Moore and since afterwards came to Delta and lived with her uncle, J.C. Evans until her marriage. She was employed in the office of the Delta Independent where she met W.J. Bordeaux whom she married in Denver, June 13, 1927. Mr. and Mrs. Bordeaux had been living in Craig since last spring. The body was brought to Delta yesterday afternoon, accompanied by two sisters and their husbands. Mr. and Mrs. V.J. Moore and their son, Virgil of Madrid, New Mexico and Mr. and Mrs. H.D. Deacon of Monte Vista; a brother of Mr. Bordeaux, H.J. Bordeaux of Craig, Colorado and a brother of Mrs. Bordeaux, Eber Burson and his son of Ouincy, Illinois. Besides these sisters and brother she leaves to mourn her untimely death the uncle who lives here.
