Annie was born on July 27, 1936 in Blountsville, AL.
Over the years Annie worked as a seamstress, retail manager; she retired from Walmart. Annie enjoyed visiting with her family and friends but took special pride in her sewing, bible studies and spoiling her grandson and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah Rainwater; brothers and sisters, James, Robert, Paulin, Cathern and Maxine.
Annie is survived by her daughter, Laura Jane (Dennis) Makin; grandson, Ryan (Cheri) Makin; three great-grandsons, Evan, Parker and Jacob; three step great-granddaughters, Emily, Katie and Lexie; one great-granddaughter, Josie; brothers, Johnny (Diane) and Glenn Rainwater; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Trahan Family Funeral Home with graveside services at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens
