Lester Wilson Lee, 90, of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, December 11, 2006, at White Oak Manor of Spartanburg.

Born May 2, 1916, in Cowpens, SC, he was the son of the late Charles Wilson and Linnie (Hill) Lee. He was married to the late Pansy Wade and then to the late Dexter Chapman Lee.

He was retired from Draper Corporation and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of God of Cowpens and a former member of the VFW of Cowpens.

Survivors include six daughters, Sarah Cash and Barbara Hanes, both of Cowpens, Frances Marlowe of Lithia Springs, GA, Brenda Bolton and Ann Cudd, both of Spartanburg, and Betty Haskell of Gaffney; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren plus three on the way. He was predeceased by a great-great-grandson.

Visitation was 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 14, 2006, at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Ed McAbee and the Rev. Ronell Owensby. Burial was in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens.

Memorials could be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
