PRINCETON - Virginia Burnette, 80, of 204 South Johnston St., Princeton, died Saturday, 19 Feb 2005 in Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton. Born 30 Jul 1924 at Beeson, she was the daughter of the late Ethan A. Cooper and Maggie E. Saunders Cooper. Mrs. Burnette was a homemaker and a member of the Bailey Memorial Baptist Church at Giatto. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She retired from Maidenform in Princeton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton James Burnette, in 1978, and two sisters, Berline Bowling and Joan Smith.

Survivors include one son, three daughters, three brothers, 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Alesia and Shirley. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in Princeton. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, 22 Feb 2005 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
