Mrs. Josephine Abbott, 72, widow of Harvey T. Abbott, Holtwood R2, died at 10:30 a.m. yesterday at her home. Death followed an illness of 18 months. She was born in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late James and Martha Schmuck Lane, and was a member of the Rowenna Church of God, Marietta. Surviving are a son, Jesse J., Holtwood R2; two grandchildren; and two sisters: Mrs. Harry Seaman, Columbia, and Mrs. Estella Seaman, Chambersburg. (Sunday News - June 26, 1955)
