Dennis V. Haney, 60, of Huntsville, died Friday.
He was a lifelong resident of Madison County, retired from Dunlop and was former Union President of Dunlop, a member of Brownsboro Baptist Church, and a Vietnam veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J. E. "Stump" Haney and Jessie Dildine Haney; and a brother, Ronald "Billy" Haney.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Jane Haney; son, Dennis E. Haney; daughter, Nikki Haney (Shawn) Black; one grandson; six brothers, Marion Haney and Hubert Haney of Ardmore, AL, Jimmy Haney, Nolen Haney and Cloyd Haney of Elkmont, AL, and Bobby Haney of Athens; two sisters, Nadine Atchley of Elkmont, AL, and Sherry Blankenship of Ardmore, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from Berryhill Funeral Home with Revs. Milton Martin, Shelby Gurley, and Jim Haney officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
