Thomas William Lindsay of Melbourne, FL, died peacefully at Holmes Regional Medical Center on October 21st at the age of 87 to join his beloved wife, Kitt.

As an Air Force Veteran and a World Bank retiree, he served with distinction and traveled the globe.

He truly loved his family, a great conversation over a good glass of wine, Pinochle and the New York Times crossword which he solved daily with a pen.

Jack and Jill, his two cats whom he spoiled and cherished, miss him as much as we do.
The void that is left when such a great loss occurs seems too difficult to bare and words seem woefully inadequate. As his grandson, Gary so eloquently stated, “His name was Thomas Lindsay, although I knew him as Pop Pop. He was a remarkable man with a brilliant mind. He was a soldier, a financial consultant, an architect, a painter, and all and all a better artist than I could ever hope to be. He was a true citizen of the world. He was a lover of fine wine and spirits and could toast a glass in seven different languages while regaling you with his many adventures across the globe. He lived well into his 80's and was strong and sharp as a tack all the way to the end. He was my grandfather, my Pop POP and my very own Wizard in my eyes. I loved him very much and I share this with you all because I want you know that the world is a little less today with him not in it.”

Tom, as he liked to be called by those who knew him, was the devoted father to his two daughters: Karen and Janet and his son, Sean. Pop Pop, as he liked to be called, was the beloved grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, all of which adored him and will carry on the amazing legacy of this great man.

Funeral Information:
He and his late wife, both US Air Force Veterans, will be placed at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, with Military Honors.
