Arnold Lee Stierwalt passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016, at the age of 78.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Arnold's life.
Arnold was born on Feb. 11, 1938, in Chanute, Kan., to Walter and Muriel Stierwalt. After moving to Fort Worth in 1963, Arnold began working for Union Special as a sewing machine mechanic/salesman. He retired from Union Special in 2001. His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren remember him as a gentle, giving, loving and caring man with a great sense of humor.
Arnold was a U.S. Marine, softball coach and all around handyman. He took great pride in the fact that he could still mow his own yard and that he had the ability to remember all of the phone numbers he ever had in his life at 78 years old. He was an active and dedicated member of Trinity Baptist Temple.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Muriel Stierwalt; wife, Delores Stierwalt; grandson, Ben Stierwalt; sisters, Phyllis Cook and Betty Staggs; and brothers, Robert and Melvin Stierwalt.
