She was born on Nov. 9, 1912 in Weyauwega the daughter of Fred and Emma Middlestadt Behn. Anita married Herbert Geffers on June 25, 1930 in Oshkosh. Herbert preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 1964.
She was a beautiful, kind and loving mother who loved bingo, had a wonderful sense of humor, and gave unselfishly all of her life to her twelve children. Mrs. Geffers was a member of Calvary Mission Center in Fond du Lac.
Survivors include seven sons; five daughters; 43 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and two sisters.
The funeral service will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 1996 at 6:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (West) the Rev. Richard Geffers officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 4:00 PM to the time of the service. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
