The late Mrs. Carpenter was a pioneer resident of Arizona,
having lived in this state for more than 42 years. She resided
in that section until a year ago, when chronic ill health forced
her to move.

She had resided with her daughter her for the past two years.

The Reverend Thomas M. Graham, pastor of the First Baptist
church, officiated at the service. Burial was in Globe Cemetery.

The late Mrs. Carpenter is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lann
and three grandsons.

She was 72, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Lann, 619 N. Hill St. She resided in Arizona for 42 years. She was the wife of Jim Carpenter, famous cattleman of Tonto Basin. She was survived by her daughter and three grandchildren.
