George Leo Vincent, 63, passed away peacefully with his family near after a courageous battle with his illness.
George was born and raised in Lawrence, Mass. He attended St. Ann's Grammar School and graduated from The Greater Lawrence Technical High School's carpentry program. George was a natural tradesman who also enjoyed his gardening and was also an avid Red Sox fan.
He was the son of the late Leo and Ilma Vincent. He was predeceased by his sisters, Patsy Vincent and Nancy (Vincent) Rolo.
George leaves behind his daughter, Melanie (Vincent) Gilbert and her husband, Jason of Salem, N.H.; his son, Michael Vincent and his wife, Cassandra of North Andover, Mass.; grandchildren, Bethanie, Samantha, Jason (LJ) Gilbert Jr., Mikayla and Liana Vincent; nieces, Michelle Minasalli and her family and Amanda Cordier and her family; as well as many cousins.
George is also survived by his longtime companion, Jeryl Paul of Weare, N.H.
There will be a private memorial service and celebration of life in his honor for the family.
