Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Collier-Butler Chapel for Georgia Bell Johnson, 88, Gadsden Health Care, who died Friday, Nov. 29, 1991. The Revs. Richard Driskill and Phil Winningham will officiate.

Burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral HOme is in charge.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Cherokee County and a resident of Etowah County most of her life. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Paul Johnson.

She is survived by her daughter, Margrette Ann Beggs, Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Jerry M. Johnson, Gadsden; grandchildren, Karen Alford, Jacksonville, Fla.; Kathy Binkowski, Miami, Fla.; Michael Beggs, Jacksonville, Fla.; Kristi Beggs, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Steve and David Johnson, both of Gadsden; great-grandchildren, Katie Alford, Tommy Alford, Travis and Tyler Beggs and Jeremy and Beth Johnson; sister-in-law, Fannie Elliott, Gadsden; and special friend, Jackie Brown.

Pallbearers will be Albert Uptain, Richard Elliott, Howard Sitz, Ralph Slate, Sam Yancey and Bill Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Mize, George Beshears, Billy Watson and the nurses and staff of Gadsden Health Care.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9.
