Mrs. Foster was born June 7, 1892, in Belzonia, Miss., the daughter of Joseph and Molly Thornton.
She married James Foster in Belzoni, Miss. in 1934.
She worked as a housekeeper at St. Francis Hospital until her retirement in 1958.
Surviving are a son, Tommie Lee Wilkins of Peoria; a daughter, Mrs. Lillie Mae Dorris of Peoria; three sisters, Mrs. Georgia Wise, Mrs. Mary Patterson and Mrs. Leola Dennis, all of Peoria; three brothers, James Thornton of Evanston; Howey Thornton and Louis Thornton of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her husband and four sisters.
