DENTON J. Y. age 82 of Hiawassee, Ga., passed away, Jan. 23, after a short illness. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Emma Denton of Hiawassee, three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Groves, Hayesville, N.C.; Mrs. Eloise Anderson, Warne, N.C., and Mrs. Jeanie Anderson, Atlanta: two sons, J. C. and J. William both Denton's, both of Hiawassee, one sister, Mrs. Isabel Hall of Hiawassee; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services, Monday, 2 p.m. Friendship Baptist Church with interment in the Osborn Cemetery.
