He was born April 5, 1916 in Kiel, a son of the late Oliver and Helen B. (Kanske) Shufflebotham.
James was a graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. In 1941, he served in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Shufflebotham was employed as a lithographer at Lakeshore Press in Milwaukee and later at Times Printing Inc., in Random Lake.
His special friend, Lucille Micoliczyk; nieces and nephews and his pet cats survive James. His parents, one brother and three sisters preceded James in death.
Following cremation, burial will take place in the Kiel Cemetery. In accordance with Jim's wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be held.
The Staff of the Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls is serving the family.
