Priscilla Jurden Casto, 74, died with her family by her side on Friday, October 14, 2016, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Priscilla lost her battle with lung cancer.

Priscilla is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack Casto of Cincinnati; her daughter, Vicki Casto of Cincinnati; her sister, Patty Dickson of Marietta, Ohio; along with many other loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews located throughout the United States.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her brother, Bud Jurden; and sisters, Leona Fleming Nahass, Gladys Malone, Mae Lang and Barbara Baker.

Priscilla was born on September 29, 1942 in Marietta, Ohio to parents Howard and Ellen Schwendeman Jurden.

She graduated from Marietta’s St. Mary’s Catholic High School in 1961.

Priscilla’s special love touched not only family members, but also the many friends she made during her residencies in Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. She loved listening to rock-n-roll music and watching sports of all kinds, but her favorite teams were the Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Reds, Marietta College baseball and University of Cincinnati (UC) football and baseball. In fact, Priscilla further demonstrated her love of UC by donating her body to the schoolás Body Donation Program to support their medical research efforts.

A Celebration of Priscilla’s Life is scheduled on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 1-5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, at 308 Franklin Street, in Marietta, Ohio.
