Evelyn C. Mitchell was married to Joseph Henry Hodge (her first husband) who died on 15 June 1904. They had at least three children, Olive, Charlotte and Charles. Upon his death, Evelyn married George Washington Curtis. She is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City. This is the same Cemetery that Evelyn's 2nd husband George Washington Curtis and 1st wife Etta are buried!!! She has a headstone, while George and Etta do not.
