Mary M. Scott, age 87, Russellville, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Russellville Hospital.

The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Officiating will be Bro. Ty Wells and Bro. Keith Prince. Burial will be at Gargis Cemetery in Lawrence County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Ray Scott; sons, Ray Scott and James Hoyt Scott; and parents, Eddie & Susie Demastus.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Faylene Stickley, Linda Malone, Wanda Wells; grandchildren, Phillip Baker (wife, Beth), Patrick Devaney (wife, Erika), Amanda Devaney, Darrell Scott, Robin Scott, Jason Scott (wife, Cassie), Lee Malone, Trina Wells Franklin (husband, Oliver), Kip Wells, Ty Wells (wife, Kayleigh); 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Hardin; brother, Troy Demastus; and several nieces & nephews.

The pallbearers will Phillip Baker, Patrick Devaney, Jason Scott, Lee Malone, Kip Wells, and Ty Wells. The honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Scott, Oliver Franklin, and Jimmy James.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Kuberg, Russellville Hospital Staff and ICU staff, Hospice of North Alabama, and the staff of Terrace Manor Nursing Home for your love and care of our family.
