Freeman Randle, 82, Dies in Litchfield
Funeral Rites Set for 2 p.m. Sunday
Worden--Freeman I. Randle, 82, who was born on a farm near Worden, where he was living at time of his fatal illness, Thursday, died at 2:30 a.m. today in St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield.
A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Randle, he was born Dec. 17, 1868, on the farm that had been in his family for nearly a century.
His wife, the former Miss Mollie Holt, died in April of 1908, and a daughter, Nelie; three sisters, and three brothers, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons, Edward, who resided with him on the farm, and George, of Worden; eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Randle was a member of Worden Baptist church where funeral rites will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. D.G. Bryan. The body is at the Worden funeral home, where friends may call.
