Myrl M. Dohner Blum, 85, of 100 W. Queen St., Dallastown, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, in York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Leroy Shultz, killed in World War II; and Frank J. Blum, who died in 1994. Born Feb. 19, 1918, in Rexmont, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Katie Keith Dohner. She was retired as a sales associate at the former Logan's Dress Shop in Lebanon, and also a deli food preparer at Zweier's Food Kart. She was a member of Rexmont Evangelical Congregational Church. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, dancing, fashion, gardening, shopping, and playing piano and cards, especially pinochle. Surviving are daughters Pamela E. Givan of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jacqueline, wife of William Davies, of Wyomissing; son Frank Jr., husband of June Blum of York; sister Grace Shutter of Lebanon; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be at noon Saturday at Rexmont EC Church. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Christman's Funeral Home, Lebanon, is handling arrangements.
