Lebanon - Frank J Blum, 77, of 104 E Pershing Ave., died yesterday in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was retired from the engineering office of the former Bethlehem Steel Plant, Lebanon; a graduate of Lebanon High School; a member of St Gregory the Great Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Annville American Legion, Friendship and Newmanstown Fire Companies, Lebanon Senior Center and Silver Haired Daddys Bowling League; and played basketball for the St Mary's Indies. Surviving are his wife, Myrl M Dohner Blum; a son, Frank J Jr of York; two daughters, Jacqueline A Davies of Wyomissing and Pamela E Givan of Colorado Springs, Colo; a sister, Elizabeth Durant of Lebanon; a grandson; and nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:30am Friday in Thompson Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Friday in his church. Burial will be in Mt Lebanon Cemetery. Viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30am Friday at the funeral home.
