Hazel Cecelia Carlson Farish, 77, past away at her home July 26, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born April 15, 1915 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Alfred and Christine Christenson Carlson. She grew up in Salt Lake City and attended East High School and LDS Business College. She married William P. Farish June 6, 1936. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in various capacities. She was an avid golfer and tournament bridge player and served as Past PTA and Garden Club President and was active in volunteer work. She will be remembered for the loving care and countless hours provided to several who suffered long illnesses. She served as a leader in the Girl Scouts for several years and was a dedicated secretary for the Granite School District and served as office manager for Commissioner Brimhall in the Utah State Dept. of Public Safety.

She is preceded in death by her husband and son Richard. Survivors include daughters, Judith A. Gordon; Suzanne F. Smith; daughter-in-law, Georgia Farish; 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, July 30, 1992 at the Olympus 3rd Ward, 4100 So. Camille St, (2485 East) on Lincoln Lane and Camille St. There will be a viewing from 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 1992 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary and from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Church prior to the services. Interment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
