Janice Ruth Tidmore Yates passed away on October 11, 2016. She was born in Houston, TX on December 1, 1953 to Obie Clarkston and Hazel Bernice Tidmore Jr. Janice was an active member of Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Conroe, TX. In 1970, she was baptized at Northwood Manor Baptist Church in Houston, TX. Janice was a volunteer at Rainbow Girl, Society of Samaritans and Intercept Ministries in Magnolia, TX. She is survived by her loving husband Rigsbee Ray Yates, sons, Daniel Eugene Yates and wife Leighann, Robert Allen Yates and wife Kelli, sister, Linda Anette Rollins, brothers, Jimmy Darrell Tidmore, Jerald Edward Tidmore and James Daniel Reed, grandchildren, Presley Rae Yates, Riley Renea Yates, Macie Lyn Yates and Violet Mae Yates. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survive.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 9:30am to 12:30pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Brother Barry McConathy officiating. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Janice's name to Intercept Ministries, PO BOX 736, Magnolia, TX, 77353-0736
